Hey everyone! MattyB, one of our Zui Stars, has released his new video, a parody for Flo Rida’s song “Good Feeling.” When MattyB came to us with the idea for his video, we thought it was amazing and were eager to partner with him to make it a reality. The video turned out awesome, and it’s already blowing up on YouTube. Even Perez Hilton loves it! Hi Olivia! Make sure to send video responses to MattyB on his Zui Stars page (www.zui.com/stars/matty-b). Our Zui Studios team looks at video responses all the time when looking for new Zui Stars, so it’s a great way to get discovered!

Hi Laura! Thanks for leaving a comment on our blog. If you’d like to be a Zui Star, make sure you’ve got a YouTube channel built up and keep getting those followers! We haven’t set an age limit for Zui Stars, so nope, there’s no limit!

Well, we don’t have *exact* guidelines for becoming a star, so I can’t tell you exactly what will get you chosen. Like I said above, the best way is to establish yourself on YouTube (with a channel that has lots of regular updates and followers) and posting video responses to our existing stars.

I’m dying to be a zui star and I’ve heard I have to post cool videos on youtube and just have a lot of followers and stuff like that… sooo my question is… how do you choose boys and girls to become zui stars and.. how do I win prices on zui.com? Hey Laura! If your YouTube channel has lots of followers, and if you post new videos regularly, you’ll have a good chance of being selected as a Zui Star. We’ve been focusing on young musicians, though we may bring on Zui Stars who have their own YouTube shows, or do cool stuff (like Brodie Smith – look him up!), or…well, use your imagination! If you do something really creative and awesome on YouTube, you’ve got a good chance at building a following, which in turn will make it more likely that we’ll choose you as a Zui Star!
As for the prizes, we’re currently working on some new big things for Zui.com (shhh…don’t tell anybody!), so the prizes have been put on hold until we launch the new stuff. We decided the points system we had in place for prizes was a little too complicated, so we’re looking at better ways to give away prizes. Stay tuned!
Thanks guys… I’ll use my imagination and see what I can do… I’ve been thinking on uploading some videos of covers of songs… cause my friends say I’m good… but I guess I’ll just have to do it and see what people think =D I’ll definitively stay tuned on zui.com and thanks for the answer! =D
